The band hit heavy on the blues without overdoing it, and stuck close to blues-heavy rock with a spicy dash of the South like a punch in the mouth.

Buffalo, NY might not be the first place that comes to mind when you think of hotbeds of American blues music. Robert Johnson never lived there, nor does the Mississippi River pass through its city limits. However, this hasn’t stopped a trio of twenty-first century bluesmen, known collectively as The Heavenly Chillbillies, from forging their own unique spin on the time-tested genre.
